Injured Al-Attiyah out of Wales
The Qatari was suffering from some pain
M-Sport today announces that Qatar World Rally Team’s Nasser Al-Attiyah and Giovanni Bernacchini will not start this week’s Wales Rally GB.
The pairing was due to line up for the final round of the FIA World Rally Championship behind the wheel of their Qatar-liveried Ford Fiesta RS WRC, but will sadly not be present in the Welsh forests.
The Qatari was suffering from some pain in his hand following a high-speed incident on the previous round in Spain. Following medical advice, Al-Attiyah has been advised not to participate this weekend.
M-Sport wish Al-Attiyah a swift recovery and look forward to seeing him back on the stages in the near future.
