Ferrari prepare for Jerez tests

Ferrari is getting ready for this season’s second test session at Jerez from Wednesday.

Team will leave Maranello today, including mechanics and the men working at the logistics, telemetry and electronics, while the engineers will arrive in Spain on Tuesday evening. Fernando Alonso will run on the first two days, followed by Felipe Massa.

The F10 has already arrived in Jerez after revisions completed last Wednesday night in Valencia. The car’s configuration will substantially remain the same compared to its debut: there will be only some mechanical updates.

Rain could be a factor at the tests where Force India, Red Bull and Virgin are scheduled to complete their first tests of the season.

Meanwhile at Maranello, work on the assembly of the second F10 chassis continues. This single-seater will be used during the third test session, held again in Jerez, from 17 to 20 February.
