After SS8: Neuville leads

Thierry Neuville rounded out day two of Tour de Corse-E.Leclerc by claiming his fifth stage victory on the Intercontinental Rally Challenge qualifier.

At the wheel of a Team Peugeot Belgium-Luxembourg 207, Neuville is 23.4s ahead of Škoda Motorsport ace Jan Kopecký following stage eight, which was shown live on Eurosport France and Eurosport Player.

Neuville was 1.6s faster through the test than BFO Škoda driver Freddy Loix (pictured), who moves ahead of Andreas Mikkelsen into third position in the overall classification as a result.

Crews are now returning to Corte for end of day service before they head to Ajaccio for overnight parc fermé ahead of the final day’s action on Saturday.
